The Message of Lourdes is a call to love, conversion, and hope rooted in the 18 apparitions of the Virgin Mary to Bernadette Soubirous in 1858. At the Grotto of Massabielle, Our Lady introduced herself as "The Immaculate Conception" and invited millions of pilgrims to be nourished by her message and inspired by Bernadette's testimony. Through words and symbolic gestures, Mary called for penance understood as a conversion of the heart toward God and toward one's brothers and sisters, the building of a chapel, and prayer for sinners — sharing with the whole world a living hope that continues to touch hearts and inspire generations.
